![]() ![]() All in all, if you want your mobile fixed, they'll turn it around quick, but not cheaply, and computer problems, I think I would simply go elsewhere, especially if you use your computer for business. parts, labour etc, some I'm clueless to whether it was a legitimate figure or plucked out of thin air One last thing, everytime I went in, which was quite a lot over that period, the same guy never seemed to remember my face, not once. and if we cant revive it, we have specialist tools and techniques to extract the data and place it all on a USB stick for you. I also wasn't sure about the price charged, as I was quoted an off the cuff figure, and that's exactly what it came to, but with no break down of what that covered, i.e. Fortunately, here at iDoctor we are often able to revive dead devices in order to recover and backup any data. Very strange! Not a great experience in my opinion. Thank god I had another computer or I'd have been screwed! In fact, what made it worse, around the 3 to 4 week mark when I popped in to check with them how it was going, I was told the engineer had gone on holiday for a week, yet two days later it was then fixed. I had to wait nearly 4 weeks to get this fixed, and that was with me chasing them. If you're in a hurry or need quick turnaround for business, I would go elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, the service was quick with this, but I think they're overcharging by quite a bit. Even getting it done at one of those dodgy corner shops would save you a tonne of cash too. So if you can follow some great instructions online via youtube or, then buy exactly the same glass and tools for £10 off eBay and save yourself £100+. The button hole surround is off centre, and it now clicks with every press where it didn't before. For the money (£110 as they gave me discount of £10 as I was having a laptop fixed) they were charging I thought the glass might actually be the real deal, but it's not. I had an iPhone 6 smashed screen replaced. Now, if you're getting your mobile fixed, then it's likely they'll sort you out the same day, if not the next. ![]() ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had both a laptop and an iPhone fixed here. So sadly I've come back to re-review iDoctor and lower the score even further, as not only is the service over-priced with non-Apple parts (Apple don't supply parts to any other third party), but you'll get a cheaper and better service using an actual Apple store. The Apple representative also said I was ripped off for the service I got from iDoctor. The trouble is that because iDoctor is not Apple-certified, Apple now won't touch my phone at all now, EVER. But, having since smashed my screen as well as the touchscreen, I learnt that Apple would replace all this for just £79. Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Key Holder to support the StoreSee this and similar jobs on LinkedIn. Originally I had my iPhone 6 glass fixed at iDoctor for £110. ![]() UPDATE: OK, I learnt a massive lesson today (9th Dec 2015). Sorry iDoctor, your prices exceed Apple and void warranties too! ![]()
